Aluminum Composite Panels

Hi, I want to know what is the polyester coated aluminum composite panels?
What it means Polyester coated?

It probably means painted with polyester resin paint or powder coated with polyester resin powder.

I tried to powder coat these once, but they came apart in the oven so they are probably wet painted.

If it's the same material as we use in the sign industry ACS (aluminium composite sheet) the polyester probably refers to the core.

ACS is two sheet of Aluminium coil- normally between 0.40 & 0.70mm.

The coils are pre-finished- not sure how. Some ACS is solid coloured so I presume it's wet painted. On the other hand some ACS is metal or stone effect so this isn't paint.

If you need ACS in a definative colour there are various options;

1) Flood coat with self adhesive vinyl of the appropriate colour.
2) Wet spray
3) ACS manufacturers will provide you with virtually any RAL colour subject to a minimum quantity.
