PVD-process / nanopowders

+++++

Hello,

I am a student Industrial Engineering and Management Science at the Technical University at Eindhoven, Holland. I am recently doing a research for a company which wants to produce submicron- and nanopowders. I will do research on the following 4 powders: TiN, ZrN, AlN and Si3N4. Their end product will though be powders on sucmicron and nanolevel of these 4 materials. I have to do research on competition and possible customers. TiN and ZrN are used for coating. Are the companies that use PVD competitors? Or do they need powders as the input product for their PVD-process which makes them then possible customers?
I hope you answer this question.

Best Regards,
