Francois,
Maybe you are barking up the wrong tree by going to fin.com
Why don't you use your Yellow Pages and go to Lab consultants, for
instance.
And to make your thesis useful, show an adjustable A.A.
hoodlet (using 304 or 316 s.s.) ... and at the top of the
room, ie. away from the hoodlet, consider using PVC ducting
to keep the costs down. Show also the airflow, normally
300 cfm.
The A.A. may hit 4,000 degr. C core temperature but it is an
infinitesimal size ... just like a cigarette is supposed to have a
core temperature of 2,000 C. Hence PVC is OK.
