Aluminum nut and bolt maker wanted [New York]

+++++

Hello, Andrew here, I am a prop maker and helmet painter for collectors and world war II re enactors and enthusiasts. I need someone to reprodue an aluminum bolt and 2 nuts, for use in retaining German Paratroop helmet liners. I have a sample, and am looking to reproduce 100 pieces of each. Please!!!! Help would be much appreciated.

Look up machine shops in your local area, they should be able to handle something like this. It won't take too many processes to get the objects you want, (3 or 4 at most). Be sure to give them a set of the originals so they have something to check it against. Good luck with them.

Doesnt look like a hard project...a local machine shop should be able to make them for you. or if you would like to try it yourself get a minilathe (I highly recommend Taig brand microlathe) they run about $400 and are highly accurate for small projects like screws. A few hours practice and you will be able to make them(and many other usefull things) yourself. If you have any questions on the making aspect of it feel free to ask away!
