Need chrome paint [Washington]

++++

I am looking for a paint that is chrome that I can use on plastic parts. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find some. Thank you!

I think you know this, Erin, but to prevent this posting from confusing others, let me start by saying that chrome is not a paint. Chrome is slang for chromium and it is a metal that is electroplated onto a surface. Those who wish to know more about chrome plating can see our Introduction to Chrome Plating.

There are paints that range from spray cans in the $5 -$10 range, to paint systems that are a pretty good imitation of chrome but cost more like $150 for a small quantity and require training and skill in the application. Good luck.
