Peel off at the diecasted part after plating process

++++

Currently we are receiving peel off complaint from our customer who assemble motor parts for the hard disk. The process goes, casting (ADC 12), shotblasting,then tumbling and plating. Before plating no peel found but after plating as high as 80% peeling is found.

Plating process done outside thru subcontractor at 85% Nitric acid and 15% hydrofluoric acid and cast part will be subjected to cleaning in caustic soda at 60°C before the etching process.

Consider this facts; 3(different models) items goes on the same processes from coating to the end process but only one item is severely affected.

I hope somebody can give us inputs.
