What method to verify chrome plating and phosphating? [Pakistan]

Hi, what is the method for checking the chrome plating on plain carbon steel (case-hardened)? what is the technique of checking phosphating on high carbon steel?

What are the parts, what spec are you chrome plating to, and what spec are you phosphatizing to? Unfortunately, it is not possible to suggest a test method for verifying that a coating complies with the spec unless you say what spec that is. If no spec has been selected yet, try to find an appropriate Mil, AMS, ISO, or ASTM specification covering that process.
