Are there any printed "Good Manufacturing Practice" guidlines for the Chromate plating operation, if so how can I get a copy. Also is acceptable to chromate steel and aluminum on the same process line. Finally I have a supplier who does not air agitate his tanks. What might be some of the problems from not doing this. Thanks for your help.

I am not sure what you mean by "Chromate plating" operation, Do you mean chromium plating?

You might be able to chrome plate steel and aluminum on the same process line, if you have enough tanks.

A supplier who does not air agitate his tanks may have no problems related to agitation. What did you observe which made you ask the question?

Sincerely,
