Powder coating vs. polyurethane enamel coatings

-

Dear sirs, I am a Project Engineer for a rapidly growing construction company based in SLC, Utah. We now have GC licenses in Utah, California, Arizona and are in the process of obtaining licenses in Nevada, Oregon and Washington. I am trying to find all of the technical information I can find on the powder coating process. Specifically the cost, ease of application and durability of powder coating vs. polyurethane enamel for outdoor steel structures subjected to fairly harsh seasonal changes. I would appreciate any and all help on this matter. Thank you, Craig Rasmussen

Dear Mr. Rasmussen Ask Emma Scham of Protective Coatings Europe, to send you a reprint of PCE Issue February 1999, pages 18 - 23. This is an article about powdercoating steel structure for outdoor use. Tell her I gave you her name, Best regards,

I'll suggest several possible sources of help: The Powder Coating Institute. The Suppliers Pages of finishing.com (powder coat suppliers).

Good Luck,
