Estimating part density increase after plating

++++

I am an O.E.M. salesperson at a Japanese owned fastener company here in the states. I need to provide documentation to my customers about the percentage of hex chrome in each part we sell to them with Zinc plating. I can get a percentage of how much each plating type has Cr6 from IMDS page, but is there a general percentage I can use to represent the density increase a part will have when it is electroplated.

Ed. note: Sorry, Matt, the term 'density' doesn't seem to fit (or at least none of our readers have responded to the way the inquiry is worded). Are you asking what would be an average weight increase on the plated parts? Maybe you can re-word your inqiry. Thanks.
