Corrosion resistant plating for 950 deg F turbochargers

++++

Good morning,

We are manufacturers and distributors of special stainless steel and high temp. alloy fasteners. We are in the process of quoting a M4 x 10 mm screw to a customer for a turbocharger applications, screws are exposed to peak temperatures of 950 F. Customer is concerned about corrosion. Can you recommend a plating or coating for a screw made from B16 steel, offering reliable corrosion protection at such temperatures and if so what would be a price range for such platings or coatings (annual quantity 2,000,000). Thank you in advance for your help.

Regards,

Uwe Schilli
