HOW TO ELIMINATE THE EPOXY BLEED OUT PROBLEM IN SILVER NICKEL PLATED AREA ? EPOXY TYPE : ABLEBOND 979 FRAME BASED MATERIAL : FE PLATING : FULL CU , FULL NI , SELECTIVE AG CURE TEMPARATURE ; 150 DEG. CEL FOR 30 MINUTES

PLEASE HELP TO RECOMEND SUITABLE CURE TEMPARATURE AND TIME OR OTHERS PROCESS THAT CAN ELIMINATE THE EPOXY BLEED PROBLEM . PLEASE ALSO PROVIDE THE POSSIBLE ROOT CAUSE OF EPOXY BLEED OUT IN THIS PLATING PROCESS .

They are two ways to prevent or minimize the epoxy bleed.

a) Tedious cleaning process using Freon or TCE
b) more effective way is to vacuum bake at 150C for 2 hours. This will drive the inherent chemical in the plating itselt. This is very effective way of preventing bleed issues.
