Deburring using an electrolyte

++++

I am chasing someone who sells a process that removes machining burrs and tool marks on a microscopic level and leaves a bright, polished surface on aluminum and stainless-steel components. The process involves the metal part is immersed as the anode in a bath of near neutral cold non- fuming electrolyte.

We manufacture four wheel drive accessories including side steps. The side steps have an aluminium checker plate (tread plate) top. After the checker plate is laser cut to size (face down) the face is left with a burred edge. The checker plate is 2.5 mm thick, and the largest side step dimension would be approximately 2.2 metres long by approximately 0.25 metres wide. Due to the time difference between the U.S and Australia please contact me on email.

Thanks,
