My polishing job is in need of help
++++
I am a rider that loves his bike's I have a new project it is a
1997 900RR (best trick bike out). Last summer I took on the grueling
and almost never ending task of " POLISHING THE FRAME AND SWING ARM"
it looks good and every one was impressed but now I have little pits
and scratches from the thousands of miles I put on it last year.
My question is how do you fix the small scratches and imperfection
with out creating new problems? any help would be appreciated.

The answer to your question varies, it depends on how deep all the
scratches are, you will need to start with
Sandpaper [link is to product info at Rockler] that will get
the scratches out, if they are very mild you can probably just use
the different emery/triopoli/rouge compounds and buff them out. If
they are deeper than that you will need to figure out which grit
sandpaper to use and sand them out. Its not hard, just will take you
a little time.
Good Luck!
