Where can find explanation and symbols for surface finish in JIS.

Where can I find symbol and conversion information regarding JIS surface finish requirements? I'm referring to the "upside triangle" symbols used by most Japanese manufacturers. I need to know what the symbols mean, what numerical value is associated with them, and how to convert them to Ra or Rma.
