How to replace the inside coating of a microwave with tape [Mexico]

My question is about microwave ovens. mine is getting old, some parts of the inside coating are coming off, specially on the back part of the inside of the oven, can I put somethig to cover it? like adhesive tape for example? or what should I do? I'm not in a position to buy a new one yet. Thank you for your time.
