How to clean "Flash Gold" [New York]

++++

Hello,

I would like to know what is the best solution to clean "Flash Gold" to get the shine back.

Is it bigger than a breadbox? I'm not sure what you mean by "flash gold"; to me it means a gold electroplating that is too thin to legally be labelled as gold plating. You give us no indication of what kind of item you are talking about either, or what happened to the shine. So I think what you might want to do is take the thing to a plating shop and have it replated. Good luck.
