Making a Refrigerator Colorful

++++

Hello,

I am remodeling my kitchen and I can't find any interesting looking refrigerators that I can afford. I am looking for any ways you might know of to turn a normal painted refrigerator into a colorful refrigerator (good spray painting methods/). I am also thinking that I might buy a metal frige and try to anodize it somehow.

Thank you,

Steel cannot be anodized; forget that approach. Regarding the paint, I don't know what to say except skuff it up with very fine sandpaper [linked by editor to product info at Rockler] before and in-beween several light coats of whatever color of spray paint you like.
