"Galvanizing" with zinc ozide and butternut squash

+++

Dear sir,

I have heard that you can galvanize ordinary steel by rubbing a paste of butternut squash and zinc oxide based sun block cream onto the surface and heating it in an oven, or here in Arizona, letting it sit out in 100 degree full sun for 12 hours. Is this true. If so...this would be great. Please let me know and thank you for your assistance.

And even if it doesn't work, at least it's one less squash that needs to be eaten. Try it and tell us what happens.

I think this deserves a "silly" rating. Everyone knows you should use acorn squash and not butternut squash.
