Cleaning carpets of green copper corrosion drippings

+++

I have read the FAQ's and did not see this question. We have a situation where the green corrosion from copper pipes has dripped on the carpet. I am looking for the best way to remove this material. This will be performed by a professional carpet cleaner.

Thank you in advance,

These copper salts should readily dissolve in even mild acids. I'd suggest trying white vinegar followed by soapy water. Good luck
