Letter 26061

Need brazing material /filler that can be electroplated [Indonesia]

I have a problem to find a filler or brazing material to be added on aluminum casting; this material must be a metallic material since end product of this aluminum casting is nickel-plated. I've tried using such pastes but I guess it's non-metallic since while electroplating it creates a white spot on that filler area (which it means that the filler is not working with the nickel plating). Could somebody give me advice?

Ed. note: "Lab Metal [link is to product info at Eastwood]" is recommended in letter 3801; "All Metal" is recommended in letter 9167. Both probably require additional treatment like zincating before nickel plating.
