Need source for Magna-coat by Magnus Chem or equivalent
+++
Looking for a Unique METAL protective coating for product finishing called Magna-Coat CP Series. I believe it is / was manufactured by Magnus Chemical. Can you provide source info so that I can purchase the product, ....Or a substitute coating if unavailable?

^- Sorry! This RFQ is outdated -^
Well, Russ, if it is truly "unique" then there is no substitute, is there? :-)
Seriously, though, please tell us something about the properties that you are interested in, and then maybe a substitute coating can be proposed that offers those properties. Thanks. Good luck with it.

I have seen questions related to the Magna Coat CP series high temperature paint. It is/was a blend of vinyl and phenolic resins reduced with alcohol to produce a high temperature paint that has very thin cover layer of .0015-.002". It is a dip or spray application for parts made of ferrous or non-ferrous metals for priming or one coat application. I too am looking for an alternative with similar high temperature cast iron protection with a thin coating restriction as indicated.
