I have seen questions related to the Magna Coat CP series high temperature paint. It is/was a blend of vinyl and phenolic resins reduced with alcohol to produce a high temperature paint that has very thin cover layer of .0015-.002". It is a dip or spray application for parts made of ferrous or non-ferrous metals for priming or one coat application. I too am looking for an alternative with similar high temperature cast iron protection with a thin coating restriction as indicated.
