Firescale Removal with "Liquid Kopper Cleaner"

+++

When fabricating sterling silver components and you get the silver too hot with your torch the result is a gray cast on the surface (which is some of the copper content in the silver). The only way to get rid of it is to buff it out with agressive compounds which takes forever. I saw an article on the web that said "Liquid Kopper Clean" is the answer. Just dip in the solution for 30 seconds and the firescale is gone. I can not find it anywhere. Can anyone help?

I don't see such a product either, Richard, but I do see dozens of professional sites that warn us not to try to remove firestain, only to try to avoid it.
