Watchmaker wants to plate small brass parts

+++

I need advise on the best method to keep brass parts from tarnishing (size of quarter). These parts will be handled by customers daily. These parts do have movable parts. Lacquer, Electro-static dipping, chrome plating. This is out of my element, I need help. I am trying to stay between the best method and cheapest.

Thanks,

Lacquer is probably least expensive, does not discolor the brass, and is easily removed and restored.
