Process for sealing Kovar to Nickel

I have attempted to seal Kovar to Nickel material with zero success rate. The thickness of Kovar with Nickel plated is approximately 0.011" thick total. The thickness of Nickel plating (electroless package) is 100 to 200u inches.
I am using a model 2100e SSEC seam sealer.

Is there an established schedule for sealing Kovar to Nickel?
