Will rubbing alcohol damage a selenium drum in a copier?
+++
I have a customer who has a Xerox 2510 Engineering Copier. It has a 4 ft long selenium drum. A tech. that was there before me rubbed it with rubbing alcohol to clean it. My question is, what affect would rubbing alcohol have on a selenium drum of this type. Would it affect its ability to take a charge? Would the rubbing alcohol damage the drum and affect the copy quality?
