Paint is peeling on aluminum pool

+++

I have an aluminum pool that was painted. The paint is peeling and I need to strip and repaint. Does anyone know the best products to use?

Hi, Barbara.

An excellent stripper for most paints on aluminum is aircraft stripper =>
because it is very powerful but won't harm aluminum. But it is methylene chloride based, and this is a really noxious chemical to be used only outside with excellent ventilation, and while wearing a minimum of goggles [linked by editor to product info at Amazon] and protective gloves [linked by editor to product info at Amazon].

Start the new painting with aluminum primer =>

Best of luck with it.
