What Aluminum Polishing Machines and Chemicals do I need?

I am trying to expand my business by polishing aluminum and need to know what type of machine will be best for the job. Also if you know the best chemical to use.

Dear Lenard, To metal polish professionally, you will need at least one double ended pedestal buffing machine, 3HP minimum along with a backstand idler pulley for linishing and grinding. A good strong extractor exhaust is a must. Abrasives would be linishing belts of 80,120,240,300 grit. Sisal buffs sizes 12 inch dia x 3 sections, 10 inches x 2 sections, 6 ins x1 section treated, and a box of fastcut steel cutting soap. Second stage polishing needs radial stitched cloth buffs in the same sizes as sisals and brown tripoli soap. Finishing stages use b grade soft cloth mops and hi fin compound. This is the very minimum you could be expected to acquire. Already, the above has cost you, in the area of five thousand dollars, and that's using second hand gear.
