Armaloy finish .... still around? [Florida]

+++

I have an old Browning Hi-Power of my father's done in Armaloy finish. Several of my friends have asked me about this finish style and are interested in it.I was wondering if there were any companies that still do this type of finish.

Ed. note: Armoloy® is a trademark / trade name, but several of the advertisers who make this site possible offer proprietary high performance chrome platings of this sort including U.S. Chrome of New York and TechPlate.

Hello Brian!

For "Armaloy" try "Armoloy". Be advised that TiCN is a better alternative, and provides a dark surface. (May be desired over a "Shiny"/reflective finish).

Ed. note: TiCN is certainly superior to proprietary thin dense chromes in some aspects and for some applications, Ymir. Just as it's surely inferior for others. Is a train or a ship better?
