if you have compatibility chart for Caustic solution.

The SS 304 will withstand 5 percent Naoh at 85 centigrade.
For more info ask an Engineer friend to let you go thru a copy of
Chemical Engineering by Perry for similar data. Libraries carry
copies too.

Yes, but that does not include heating the tank by putting a gas
burner under it.
