+++I would like to know who to contact about smaller unit for plating stained glass pieces. I need one that will plate lead, I have seen pieces done and it looks beautiful. I would like to add this service to my customers, from my shop.
Thanks,

Hi, Carla. Hopefully the site's supporting advertisers who offer plating equipment for stained glass contacted you while your needs were current. Please see the banner at the top of the page, or look for "brush plating" in our Equipment Directory and Chemicals Directory.
For technical reference, please see letters 545 and 46134.
Even though it's called lead came, it may be zinc or pewter or tin rather than real lead. Real lead requires activation with hydrofluoric acid, which is terribly dangerous stuff, and which will etch the glass. As a glass craftsperson, though, you may already be familiar with this. Good luck.
