Guess my plating problem
--
It's August in Florida, and we rack plate tin (acid sulfate) on aluminum using cyanide zincate and cyanide copper. What do you think the problem is that we had and why?
Seriously.

Your customer was irritable because it is too darned hot? Sorry, don't know. It was interesting trying to formulate a guess that wouldn't make me look foolish, but I'll have to say "uncle". Any other takers?

Also, like Ted, at the risk of sounding foolish;here's my guesses: 1. the tin is turning yellow due to high heat and humidity. 2. you are seeing blistering over time due to one of many possible problems, such as, overtemp zincate resulting in a deposit that is to thick, or maybe it was so humid that the tin actually started to flow? Please enlighten us.
