Electroless nickel suitable for food processing equipment

--

I need to know if there is any literature out there, such as an article in a trade magazine, or a FDA publication, that has approvals for or at least testing of Electroless nickel in food processing equipment.

I am out of date on the subject, but in the past, FDA approved any EN that was not brightened with a toxic metal such as mercury, arsenic and etc.

The manufacturer of the particular EN bath should be able to provide you with a written approval.
