Nikasil treatment - what is involved in the process

Having searched for many hours trying to find more information about the Nikasil treating process we would like to know how exactly it is done and what equipment is needed to carry out the whole process. Any useful information would be appreciated.

Hello, Mr. Cutler. Nikasil is a trademark, and you would need to contact the manufacturer if you wished to buy or license the process. But my understanding is that this is nickel plating with occluded particles of silicon carbide plating and that competitive processes are available from other companies.
