Need vibratory media for polishing "Vim-Var" shaft [Wisconsin]

+++

I am looking for a new media to be used in a "Ultra Matic" vibratory tub unit. We are currently using walnut shells to polish these particular parts. The part is a tappered shaft. The largest dia. is .690" and the length of the part is 2". The material is, "Vim-Var". There is a small hole on one end of the shaft that the walnut shells to get into and the shells have to be removed from each piece, or at least checked to make sure that there are no shells in the part. The finish that we get with the walnut shells is good but the parts are handled too much. The finish we need is, 16 microinch RMS. We are located in SouthEast Wisconsin. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.
