Marine finishing and protection on marine cranes

+++

Dear sirs,

My problem concerns the finishing and the protection on all the parts of a marine crane, I would like to know which are the parts that have to be better protected or manufactured with special materials. Moreover I have problems with safety accessories of winches, the safety switch for the end-rope and the overload protection are always off because of the salty fog and the water. Do you think is better to have galvanized and marine painted pipes or just hoses with stainless steel fittings? I need all possible information on the matter, including books titles, if you can recommend me some.

Thank you all in advance my kindest regards,
