Hard surface for soft tin bismuth alloy

+++

We make wax moulds for production of wax patterns for investment castings.We use a tin bismuth alloy as the soft castable metal. The life of this metal is too low as it is soft and the mould cavity gets damaged very fast. Can anyone please suggest a plating or a covering on the soft metal so that it becomes hard and resistant to nicks and hits and damage.

Thanks,
