Curing Lamps

My wife is an artist. Her medium of work is sheets of aluminum which are cut, sanded, ground and painted with oil paints. These paints are artist paints (normally used on canvas) which she thins down with mineral spirits [link is to product info at Rockler]. The paint booth in the studio has very little natural light (ie. sun) and is lit with incandesant lights. The temp. is between 65 and 70F. Drying time is very long (24 to 36 hours) in this situation. However, when she paints in the sun room (all glass, southern exposure) drying time is about 4 to 6 hours. I am assuming that the quick drying time in the sun room is due to the IR wavelength in the light since most of the UV is blocked by the glass. Is that a good assumption ? If so, what would be the best curing lamp to purchase? Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated.

The effect of dry paint is by infrared radiation. You can purchase any curing lamp, for example, the infratech 1500W medium wave lamp; the cost is 140- 200 Dlls. With this lamp you can dry a 1m by 1m painted surface in 10 minutes. You can find many different brands.
