What does "hologram" mean?

What does "halogram" mean? What's technology of it? I want to write some science project about halogram, do you have some idea for me ?

I think you mean HOLOGRAM; this is an electroformed or plated image that appears to be in three dimensions, but is really only two. It is made by using lasers to image a photosensitve sheet through a suitable mask. It is widely used on credit cards, bank notes etc.

I think it should be a device which is used in DVD and CD-Rom driver in order to read data from a CD or DVD.
