Base coating for rigid 6061 aluminum snow skis [Colorado]

++

I am designing new snow skis, which are rigid and bi-convex. The prototypes are being carved out of 6061 aluminum, by a DAM robot. I am interested in a base coating for the skis, which will adhere to 6061 and which is resistant to cracks, peeling, cutting, scraping and abrasion. It must work well in cold weather and slide wonderfully on all sorts of snow surfaces. It does not need to be flexible, as the skis are rigid. Later on, we may want to stamp out production skis; however, for the present we need coatings for prototypes. Cost is a factor, but the above mentioned requirements are musts. Please advise.

Thank you,
