I Need a Coating in a Precision Bolted Joint

++

I have often encountered the need to protect a mild steel, precision bolted joint from corrosion at the faying interface. The trouble comes with structures too large to fit into special tanks and chambers- for instance, large ground based telescopes and tooling for measuring large mirrors and lenses. I am looking for a coating that: A; can be sprayed or brushed on. B; is thin enough to not alter surface flatness and to not cause elasticity between bolted plates. C; bonds well enough to withstand high stress from bolts. D; is dry and particle free after curing.
