Finishing of stamped hex nut [Illinois]

I have an application that I want to have applyed a magnagard B-06 coating applied to a spring steel stamped hexx nut. The present finish on the existing hex nut is a electro galvanized finish. Is there any reason that this combination will not perform on adhesion or application ?
