Long term protection against storage
corrosion? (Pennsylvania)
++
Recently I heard from a vendor that to prevent corrosion and rust
that the US Mint uses a packaging material called Corrosion
Intercept. Allegedly it can maintain any metals surface corrosion
free for up to 10 years without desiccant oils or VCI's. I am looking
for a way to preserve metal lead frames. Has anyone tried deep
storage in this material? It sounds to good to be true?

Hi, Richard. I'm sure it works in principal. But absolutely
everything has disadvantages. Until their competition sees the
ads and begins testing and comparing and weighing in, you probably
won't know what those disadvantages are.
How are you pronouncing "lead" in "lead frames"? If it rhymes with
"bead", what are they plated with? (If it rhymes with "dead", I don't
foresee much corrosion anyhow).
