Burnt plate [Vermont]

This may not be exactly up your alley, but I hope you have some info. I accidentally burned a stainless plate and it turned blue and brown. Is there any fix for this?

No promises, but motorcycle shops offer products with names like "Blue Buster" or "Blue Away" to remove the blue color from hot chrome-plated exhaust pipes. Maybe they'll do something for you.
