Yellow patches on white zinc plating

++

We are doing white zinc plating on the part (material - AISI 1020). After white zinc plating there comes some yellow patches on the surface of the part. Please guide us why it is happening so and what is the solution.

Sorry, I've never really heard of the term "white zinc", Sanjay (different areas probably use somewhat different terms). Are you referring to zinc plating with a clear chromate conversion coating? Can you send us a picture of these yellow patches? Cyanide, alkaline non-cyanide, chloride, or ammoniated zinc? Barrel or rack plating? Thanks!
