Restoring finish to aluminum trim on Retro table

++

I have a 1950's retro table with 3.5 inch polished aluminum trim. Wear and tear has left gouges and scratches in it. What is the best method of restoring the finish on the trim?

Hi, Doug. Aluminum can be restored to brightness by buffing. Unfortunately, removing scratches requires polishing down to their full depth, which may be too deep to be practical. But good luck with it.
