Avoiding hard water stains and soap-scum on bath tiles & fixtures

++

We are manufacturers of bathroom fitting, cleaning and care products and also manufacture Ceramic Glaze Tiles. Kindly help us.

1. We are interested in modifying our Ceramic Products at the time of processing when we do the Glaze Coat. Our customers are frustrated about stains, dirt, soap-scums on Ceramic Glazed Wash-Basin and Wall/Floor Tiles. Therefore,we are interested in the right sealer or what u suggest at the manufacturing processing time to prevent stains, and soap-scums. We want to do something at manufacturing time when we coat the glazing.

2. Customers are frustrated by the problem of Hard Water Stains on Chrome&Gold/Electroplating Coatings because hard water marks diminish Luster and Sheen of costly Bath-Fittings.

Kindly suggest how we can protect the above Chrome and Gold Plated Metal Surface against Hard Water Stains, Fungus and Algae. We are looking your suggestion and positive valued reply for our esteemed customers.

Hi, Aman. I've bought, installed and used a good amount of ceramic products, but I don't have the knowledge to improve the internal manufacturing process if your glaze coats are unsatisfactory. Sorry.

As for the chrome and gold electroplated fixtures, though, these do not get and do not need any sort of topcoat. The chrome or gold electroplated finish is smooth, hard, tarnish resistant and easily cleanable. These plating processes are something you must do right, so there is no porosity or lack of brightness, rather than do poorly and then try to make up for :-)

Good luck.
