Mr.....Mooney, If, you don't know the answer, do not answer. There are sites indicating "Blackodizing" as one of the treatment on components to prevent environment effect and better aesthics. Better you go thro' key search on this word and you will find many sites. Do not criticize and don't be proudy on your experience, one should learn new till the end of life.

I agree with life-long learning, Mr. Bhatt! My principal reason for founding this site was to help me learn.
But at least three inquirers want an answer, and following the links you talk about apparently did not work for them. So, as system operator of the site, when they have been waiting for a year and a half and no one has helped them, I think it is my job to try to answer as best I can even if my answer is imperfect.
Unlike you, I did not criticize anyone! If you read my reply as criticism, it was certainly not intended. I pointed out that the term is a trademark if one letter is changed, but does not seem to be a trademark in either of the two spellings presented by the inquirers; nor could I find it in any 'standard', nor in a search of the published technical literature, and the term appears to only be used in India. It seems to mean the same thing as 'black oxide', but I can't say with surety.
If you feel that your answer, that it is "one of the treatment on components to prevent environment effect and better aesthics" and "go through a key search on this word" informs the inquirers better than mine did, fine.

Please send me the information about the blackodizing process. I want to know the process, its application in the industry.
Thanx.

Hello Mahesh, I have come to the opinion that 'blackodizing' and 'blacodizing' are terms sometimes used in India to refer to the process we call 'black oxide' in the USA. See our FAQ at http://www.finishing.com/faqs/blackoxide.html
