Electropolish 316L
I have some 316LV that in an anhydrous 75/25 Phosphoric/Sulfuric
bath refuses to polish at current densities below 600 (SIX hundred)
ASF. This takes ~25 Volts. It pits & hazes up to 550 ASF then
goes mirror brite at anything above 600. Any suggestions on bath
formulations that can work way down at around 300 ASF? Adding
conductivity or raising the temperature brings on pits & haze
again.
