How would I polish schedule 40 S.S pipe to a mirror finish?

Polishing stainless to a mirror finish will be a tall task. You must mechanically polish, that is, sand it, with increasingly finer grit sand paper until there isn't any finer grit paper. Then you have to buff with buffing compounds of increasingly fine grit.
